Youth Training
Our Youth program is really picking up and that is awesome! When we get these kids in here at a younger age and can teach them properly and build a great foundation we can do some amazing things. Building up these kids physically and mentally is a lot of fun and very rewarding but for them in the long run if they continue it will be extremely rewarding for both them and us. Thanks guys for trusting us with your kids, we will not disappoint.
Constant Changes
When you are training highly successful athletes, adults and high school and college, You need to be on top of your game. I am reading a lot right now to push myself to a new level as a strength and conditioning coach. I love these challenges and my clients who push me both physically and mentally to be better all the time. I can never let up on my own training and I can never stop learning because making the best even better is not easy. Anyone can get someone who is in terrible shape or weak into shape or stronger, that’s very easy. Getting the best better now that is a challenge. Thank once again for pushing me to be the best! I promise I won’t let you out grow me.
Where the Best Get Better
I figured my thank you’s could get annoying but I wanted to share with you why I am so lucky and thankful to have the clients that I have. On the college, high school, middle school front he list is so long that we are adding a page to the website but we have all americans, national champions, a lot of division 1 and division 11 athletes along with top division 111 programs in the country. The younger kids are eager to learn and fun to work with. Teaching them how to move properly and lift properly is huge!! Once somebody learns wrong it is difficult to start over. The adults are awesome too, we have people doing things they never thought they could do and never even heard of. Every single test they improve and that gets tougher every time to do but they do. The examples again are too long and cannot list them all but it’s awesome for sure. So thank you!! New Programs
You can now do more sport specific training and have more time available to suit your schedule. We will be open from 230 until 5 or 6 depending on the day and we have 7 pm vertical leap and lower body power classes. We will also have a 2 day a week class to focus on younger athletes who need to learn proper lifting techniques and how to move properly. Please take advantage of this, we have made these changes for you.
300 groups
It’s incredible to me how these people keep improving. I realize that’s my job but I am so blessed to have so many people stick with it and keep pushing to places I never had the pleasure of pushing people to. The record board in the Athlete Training Center is amazing. We have multiple women doing multiple pullups with 18 being the leader. We have multiple people now doing over 100 pushups and heavy chins, 55lbs-87.5 lbs. A 345 pound deadlift and amazing times on our airdyne and sled race. I will post all results at some point but keep in mind these numbers are mostly coming from 58 year olds and up! It’s badass to work with these people and now Friday we will test the 300 again. I now have people doing the legit version of the 24 inch box and pullups along with everyone else improving on each of their individual styles and times.
Summer Training
We have added running into the program for adults this summer. Getting outside has been great but the main reason we did this was a conversation I had with a friend who’s an orthopod. He suggested that people with bad knees(one of his specialties) usually either have run a lot or never. The people who run a small amount have very healthy knees usually. Nobody in the class knows this is why but some may now, surprise! It has been fun in a sick way on Wednesday which has become brutal at this point with some people showing up half hr early to do more rounds. .8 run, 8 flights stairs with 20lb vest, 30 slr with chains, sandbags lifts over the shoulder (8) and 8! sleds 4 push 4 Pull the full length of the turf everytime. It’s brutal but now with 7 rounds people are crushing it around 1 hr 35 mins! I love my peeps, they are so hardcore and fun. Thank you!
Staying focused in the summer
It’s easy to take off time in the summer. Every season has it’s own excuses and people love to use them. Luckily I am not surrounded by excuse makers or users. Make sure you surround yourself with successful people who work for what they want. I stay focused and motivated because I know people are counting on me to do the same for them. Make sure you get outside for part of your workouts at least and enjoy the summer more by being able to do more things. You can water ski longer, hike higher and faster and do everything better when you are in good shape. Keep on working hard and staying focused to reach your objectives and goals.
Summer in full swing
Now that we are through the 4th it’s on. The one2one bootcamp is growing, ATC summer athlete sessions are in full swing and the best personal trainers in NH are busy and helping people get results. Still Thankful
I am just writing again to talk about how good it is to be me. The summer session is about to start in Athlete Training Center and once again we have all great kids coming in to actually make a change and work hard to improve. My 300 groups continue to make gains even though they are in much better shape than their peers. It’s so easy for me to get up and get motivated to keep pushing you guys. Thank you!
Strength coach and training partners
It’s vital that your strength and conditioning coach or personal trainer and training partners are on it! Everyone has a bad day or a bad hr but you need somebody to pick you up. Make sure the people you surround yourself with during your workout time lift you up. I am blessed by being surrounded by totally awesome, high energy, successful people and almost never have a bad day. I enjoy my life very much and I know the importance of having good energy in your day. I place a high importance on anyone joining any of my 300 groups having the right attitude and energy. I am willing to take anyone who wants results and is willing to work for them. The people in these groups are so awesome and don’t deserve to have anybody who sucks us dry! [not a good thing in this case] I have 2 simple rules, give me 100% everytime and improve each day by writing down your numbers and having a goal of at least 1 more next time. It’s actually pretty easy to do in these groups too if you have the desire all you need to do is get there.
